The F10-AR is the first instrument designed for simple, affordable testing of ophthalmic anti-reflection coatings and hardcoats. Available at less than half the cost of the instruments it replaces, it contains several proprietary advances that allow line operators to make conclusive readings in seconds, and with only minutes of training. Minimum, maximum, and average reflectances of AR coatings can be calculated and compared to user-defined specifications -- even with a hardcoat layer present. Spectral analysis of reflections from the top and bottom surfaces of the thin film provides results in seconds. The F10-AR includes everything required for measurements: spectrometer, light source, fiber optic cable, sample stage, and Windows™ application software — just add your computer. |
